Amazing Investment Opportunities in Bulgaria

The main issue in this thread revolves around some properties that have already been sold in Bansko, Bulgaria. Members also discussed the potential investment opportunities involved in certain properties. One member even stated his purchase of a piece of property in Perun Lodge. It was a studio that was about 32sqm, which he had bought for approximately 68300 Euro last April 2007.

As for the general consensus, they had spoken out that due to the oversupply of real estate properties being built in the region, some of the properties being sold would sooner depreciate in value. Moreover, some members also thought that most properties sold in the region were somehow overpriced.

However, due to the unravelled beauty of Bansko, members reiterated the fact that buying a property there still holds good potential. This is all because of its beautiful environment and popular ski vacation reputation. In addition, the Perun Lodge was considered by some members as a best-buy-property due to its excellent facilities and extraordinary designs.

Furthermore, there was a discussion among members about issues and certain transactions with dishonest agents. A piece of advice for other interested members was given in order to avoid fraudulent transactions in the future. This is about the importance of initially consulting with a legal and reliable financial consultant and lawyer before pushing through with the transaction. Moreover, they should check the property personally in order to properly assess and acquire the necessary details.

Thus, Bansko is located southwest of Bulgaria. It is popular as a town layered with several of ski resorts. Furthermore, Bansko is also recognized for its possession of the best and most prestigious winter activities in all of Eastern Europe.

The property market of Bansko has always been the head of discussions all these years. Local as well as foreign investors also shared their interest for this winter destination. For such clamour, a number of pistes have been increased together with infrastructures and services. This is in order to accommodate the enthusiastic public.

However, it has been reported that due to the increased number of properties being sold in Bansko and the decreased demand in acquisition of buying them, it has led to the stagnation of growth as an investment paradise last 2007.

Real estate agencies have been closing their offices due to the aforementioned reason. In addition, some investors have cut down the prices of properties in half. This is in order to sell them quickly. Yet, these real estate properties remain unsold up to this day.

With regards to future views about Bansko’s property market, it can draw in more tourists, which can result to further expansion of its properties once it maintains its popularity for being a much sought after ski resort region. At present, Bansko is still in its youth with regards to its development and growth.

  1. Investment Property Rumours:

Given that the foreign buyer market appears to have been artificially created, and then hyped to death the fat would seem to be that the actual “demand” was in fact non existant. If you suggested to someone 20 years ago that they buy a house in Bankso you would have got a very blank look, followed by “where?”

It will be some time indeed with market conditions the way they are before the market can settle down, as well as the scandals and scams that seem to be appearing from the region regarding the real estate industry in general.
