I have managed to book one-way flights from UK to Bodrum for later this month -with Thomas Cook, so we'll see what I think of Altinkum.
I think the reason I reserved is the price seemed too good and apartment size quite spacious. I've been looking around various websites and holiday rentals people have advertised and seem to have fallen in love with Kalkan.
Anyone any experience of buying there, is it expensive? Seems in a different league to Altinkum or will I find such panoramic uniterrupted sea views with hills in background in other places like Kusadasi or even Altinkum?
I'll go with an open mind and see what it is I've signed up for..I know I probably prefer other places like Gocek, Kalkan etc...and this is without even visiting them just by looking at photos...so we'll see what I think in reality...and at the end of the day it will be which place is within budget and giving me better value for money as a first purchase in Turkey!
