Default Property in the Gulf

Having lived in the Gulf for almost 30 years and watched the property market, I really wouldn't recommend it. Bearing in mind the vast number of developments, prices are unrealistically inflated; the bubble will almost certainly burst and there is now legislation controlling rents. The whole of the Gulf is building on the theory that the more you build, the more you attract foreign investment. But inflation in the Gulf is forcing expats out. They simply can't afford to live there unless they are in the top 5% with regards to pay. I'd say go for other countries/regions! Much safer!!
