I just spotted this post.
I met with the developers of Manta Resort a month ago and we spoke about the project.
I must admit that it was my seventh meeting of the day when I met them at 10.00pm, my girfriend was in hospital and I was in a hurry and so maybe was not as attentive as I should be.
But the summary is that this development is in a "Houston, we have a problem" situation.
It's something to do with planning permission, I think. They also mentioned that they are currently changing the entire plan of the the resort, with talk of building a marina.
In the forthcoming
Propertastic's Guide to Hurghada Property and Egypt's Red Sea Real Estate, we advise people to wait and see what happens with this development. I wouldn't put any money into it before their revised plans are finalized.
