I just had notification from our agents, that our apartment was flooded last week.
Apparently due to torrential downpours Migros in Hisaronu was in danger of being flooded so the council diverted the storm drains.
We are downhill from Migros to the left and apparently the road was about 60cm deep.
Our property has a deep gully around the perimeter and a very deep sump and pump around the building. However ,this was not enough to stop this deluge!
Apparently the water came in through the windows (vents I guess) and flooded to about 15cm.
I am told there will need to be an insurance claim for new furniture as the bedrooms are downstairs.
It is the Bora apartments if anyone knows the area. Any eyewitnesses at all out there?
