I booked it through Budget, and, yes, it's direct. We did consider breaking the journey in Luxor for a day or two and then travelling down, but we just want to get to El Gouna
The one thing we didn't want was the transfer with the tour operator. Advertised as a 4 hour transfer it actually took 8 hours. We had to wait for other flights so went from hotel lobby to hotel lobby while all the coaches gathered and then a slooooow convoy down to Hurghada. I would rather pay for the taxi, or a flight if I can sort one out.
