Yeah...as the saying goes " cross the T's and dot the I's". Helps to take a draft of the contract and get legal help. Not that the developer will change the contract ( as he has his own legal team working with him ), but it's good to know what you are going in for.
Note : When going for a group of investors, all should have the same exit strategies.
