We are planning to move over to Hurghada but are having real problems selling our house in the UK, the market in Northern Ireland has just stopped. We really don't fancy being stuck here for another 2 years until it sorts itself out.
Our alternative is to rent out our house here and sell Towers to give us a bit of a financial cushion.
Just have to wait and see what happens over the next few months.

Good luck with your sale. In my experience most people overvalue their own houses considerably and this is why sales take a long time. If you really want to sell in Northern Ireland now then maybe you should price it very attractively and accept less. Its only going to get worse and in two years time could be much lower imho.
