. A wimp you certainly are NOT!! Bet you can do anything you set your mind to and I'm sure you'll be fine in Egypt. Instead of worrying about taxis why don't you hire a taxi for the week - remember we've got loads of information here that will help you while you're there. What are your specific worries? If you go armed with all the information - phone mumbers etc - you need you won't be so nervous.
