Hi Dawn it means that you can enter ( visit ) and leave Egypt as many times as you want within a 6 month period. It is cheaper if bought from the passport office in Egypt ( cant remember exact price but about £8 ) and if bought via post from the Embassy in London it is £18. It means that if you travel quite alot it will save you having to keep paying for the single entry visa each time you enter which is $15 each visit ( and queuing up ). A visa is compulsory in Hurghada, whether it is multi or single. We had to get one anyway to get our Power of Attorney for the lawyer. We do not require one in Sharm if we do not leave the Sinai region.
