He is now 15 and taking his GCSEs next year but though the schools here in Bahrain are excellent, he wants to go back to the UK to take his A levels. I told you that I have a friend who works in El Gouna school - she teaches Biology - and her son is almost 15 too. She's been very pleased with the education that he's received there but she will also return to the UK so that he can take his A levels. Is your son in year 10? If so, is it not possible for you to wait until he finishes year 11? I think it would be extremely hard for him to transfer in the middle of GCSEs - I doubt that he would be able to take the same subjects as he's taking now.
After you've made a few more posts on the forum you will then be able to use the private messaging system and I will ask my friend if I can give you her phone number so that you can talk to her inshaAllah.
Best wishes
