Actually I think Dubai would be great for a holiday - there is a mind-boggling amount of things to do for all ages, and it seems that there's much more to come too. I know my 15 year old son would love it. We just went for the day though to get some business sorted out and as I'm not keen on city living, Dubai wouldn't suit me. We live in the 'city' in Bahrain too and I'm not keen on that either!
Weather wise, I suppose most of us want what we can't have or what we miss
I miss rain and cold after the endless heat here (and at 45 degrees it's far too hot to enjoy) and you miss the summer!
