I know nothing about Costa de Sauipe resort, which I guess is in Aracaju not Bahia? But I do make a good living out of tourisem in Bahia (as do my competition), though my investments are rather more modest than that of a mega all singing and dancing resort!
To be honest I could probably buy the things on my wish to list, but business, for now comes first and the toys, god willing, will come later!

previous to Aracaju, i have bought in Itacaré in 2004 5 hectars of land, at 4km from Itacaré town. Who wants to see my condominio, can acess photobucket, and search for ElShamah. I know the real estate situation in Itacaré very well, and i can tell you that even 8 years ago, there was almost anything available at any beach, close to Itacaré. The beaches were always inside of big fazendas, and in the hand of a few lucky people. One of the smart guys, his name is Ralph. He is the owner of a well known surf brand, not shure if it is Hang Loose. He bought in 1993 a fazenda with Prainha beach for us$300 thousand. But this is already 15 years back!! Another is Luciano, a guy from Minas Gerais, from a rich family, which bought 1500 hectars of land in 1996 for us$ 800 thousand. He sold afterwards Hawaizinho beach to Warapuru, a six star hotel which is beeing build right now. Warapuru made a trade , and paid future 2 luxury villas for the land, worth about us$ 4million. In 2004 , i paid R$ 140.000 reais for my land, about 28000 reais per hectar. In January, a Paulista paid 80000 reais for one hectar, close to my land. Itacaré is not growing fast, and mostly foreigners buy land there. I am selling there average 2 plots of land a year. In Aracaju i sold 120 in 5 month....
