Thank you Lena

Sounds just like a place I reviewed some 15 years ago in Essex, England. The new owner was proudly surveying his snip - beautiful old farmhouse in need of major restoration. As we approached a grossly overgrown duck pond he threw his cigar into the pond. A few seconds later we noticed flames from beyond the surrounding high grass. They got bigger and bigger until the whole pond was engulfed. Can you imagine his frustraton when the emergency services put the phone down on him for the third time?

Consider listening to someone appealing for..."help my duck ponds on fire!!!" They sent the police first ready to arrest him for wasting their time...LOL!!!

Apparently an old shed which was on high ground above the pond had been leaking heating oil or something similar for some considerable time and it must have seeped down the embankment, according to the fire chief.

A gloriously eventful episode!!!

Lena; your kind thoughts and promise of your father's precious land will not meet my client's needs on this occasion.

Thanks anyway...

Olly
