All - I saw my 1st ever Egyptian spider today and it was one of those moments where you are kicking your self for not having your camera to video it. This flying insect - dont know what it was but was smaller than the spider - was wrestling on the ground with it. Well it must have kept stinging it and after putting up a fight for about 5 mins the spider was dead. The insect then started dragging it off - I assume to a nest to be eaten. Have you thought of popping in to one of the hotels whilst you're there and asking them how they manage to keep their towels and linen so white? Just a thought as we've stayed in a few hotels and never come across a yellow/grey towel.
