Hi everyone. I've never posted anything on a site before so please bear with me. I am due to retire in 2 1/2 years (and counting ) and I was looking,intially,for a holiday/retirement home in Spain, but I think I have been priced out of the market.
I've never been to Turkey, but I know a lot of people that have and love it, so I thought I'd take a look at the property market.
My first question is, is it best to go on holiday first or on a property trip?
Where would be the best areas for 1/ prices. 2/ climate 3/ ex pats (bearing in mind I am a single old lady!)
Are there good rental opportunities to fund a property because I would like to avoid selling my UK home until I am ready.
I understand that Private Health Insurance is required, but I can't find out how much this is likely to could be.
I would be very grateful for any help from anyone.
