Hi,

In answer to some of the questions raised, i believe it would be far more benefitial to yourself to go on holiday first, to such areas of Bodrum, Altinkum or Feithye and get a real good feel for the area people and culture. Whilst you are there try to live as though you do 'live there'. Iwould avoid going on property trips in the first instance until you have found the area, property that you are keen on.
The south coast are the best areas for prices and climate as this offers over 300 days of sun. Bodrum and Feithye are currently the areas that expats are retirng to as there is more life during the off season than such areas as Altinkum and Akbuk! Rentals are high in Turkey and more tourists are going for the 'villa or apartment' approach rather then the hotel. The reason for this as the holiday is in the main spent out side the hotel, in restaurants, and on the beach. As for private medical insurance, as the supplier of the contract what you and are not covered for. Some policies will offer whole of world cover as some will not. If you require any assistance in your search pleasedo not hesitate to contact me.

Kind Regards,

Ryan Blanche
