To answer this question and the previous one from Belfast-Connection:
We have been considering legal action against WSV for a while and at the time of last writing we were giving WSV one last chance to offer a resolution - a pointless exercise given their attitude towards buyers but one that we had to complete anyway. Yet again we have received no response and will now be pursuing this in the small claims court - for the quoted kitchen and built in wardrobes.
We have also found out that our apartment is now fundamentally different to the one we and the developer have signed for. Regarding the earlier comment about Seddons working more for the developer than their clients, consider this - the orientation of the apartment is now at 90 degrees to the original, the terrace is at 90 degrees to the original orientation and we currently estimate that the overall dimensions are at least 7.5 sqm less. I say currently because we have calculated this difference using the original and new plans on the WSV website which seem to bear little resemblance to reality.
Since our expensive legal representation deemed these changes so irrelevant they didn't need to contact us I will leave it to readers to decide who they are really acting for. We have taken this up with them formally, as right now we have no confidence what-so-ever as to what we will finally receive.
