Default Reasons for a residents visa

Some of the other things you need to show a res visa for include: renting a Post Office Box, getting a phone line/internet connection, and getting a license to buy from the liquor store. If you don't need these things, you can keep legal by ducking out of the country every 2 months to renew your visit visa. For some passport holders, this is as simple as a drive up to the Oman border.
