Default Club de Vaciones does not fly

Well, wrong again.

CLUB DE VACACIONES are operating now with a block-space with TAP.
The promised own charter to Natal in July 2008 will not materialize. As we speak now, first week of June 08, it has not been contracted with any airline.
There is no way Club de Vacaciones, or any other operator for that matter, could implement and sell a route like this within 3 weeks.

Forget about it.

How do I know? I just know.
I was the one who informed about the drop of Natal by them last time.

Yet another proof that the season 2008 is going to be a disaster.

Paul,

How do I know that I am right: I looked at the CB website :

NATAL + PIPA 4N + 3N (MAD). 15 JUL - DIC
Avión ida y vuelta desde Madrid en vuelo directo de Air Comet. Traslados IN / OUT. Estancias de 4 noches en Natal y 3 noches en Pipa en hoteles y régimen elegido. Seguro de viaje.

Try this:

http://www.clubvacaciones.es/searche...t%5D&selcod=AM

It should work otherwise go into the summer flights. Also remember the prices here are not the "Ofertas" so these aren't being sold by agents at the moment.

Regards,
Rob.

Thanks

Just booked two returns for the end of June, Recife to Frankfurt with Condor at a cost of 630 euros each (approx £500, R$1550) fully inclusive.

Colleague just arrived here via First Choice Manchester into Salvador, then internal flight to Recife, and paid approx £375 all in.

So, some reasonable deals in and out of Brasil do exist, but maybe not into Natal???

I wanted to go to Natal in June, but couldn't because of commitments, so now I have to pay €1250 from Malaga on Tap all the way in July .

Arkefly is 1k€ for mid July, but you can probably pick up some better deals closer to the date if they haven't sold them out of course...

I was going to fly TAP as usual, but they are just getting too expensive.

Not sure about options from Spain, but from the UK right now the best bet is Gatwick or Manchester into Salvador with First Choice, and then internal flight to your final destination.

He is entitled to his opinion even though as far as I'm concerned he hasn't provided any facts which support his conspiracy theory yet.

Actually, I never said the new airport on Natal "would never be built" what i said was that it is irrelevant to claim that there will be a massive influx of flights just because they build a new airport. The issue is as discussed above "open skies" and not whether there is a new terminal. If I remember correctly Mr Broad it was you that claimed the existing airport in Natal was at full capacity and inferred that once the new one opens the coast is clear for a flight boom. Just as the claims that it will take the new A380 Airbus, which are also ridiculous for reasons already given.

I detect that after 12 months on this site fighting the spin and hype put over by those with a vested interest, wild and assumptive claims are now somewhat diluted compared to then.....why, because history has unfolded and reality has arrived in the overseas/offplan property market. In brief, people are no longer mugs and willing to believe the hype. This flight thread is proof of that..12 months ago you'd have thought there was almost a regular shuttle running into Natal and by 2009 the new airport would be clogged with A380's full or short term rentals....now we know the real story....long live reality!

Recife is an International connection route,so obviously flights go in and out more frequently, but Natal has far fewer flights because the demand is not there at the moment and the prices way O.T.T even the Fly Brasil NL ! The Brussels route from the UK takes 24 hrs total and not practical, but if you live and work in Brussels then great! Even if you fly with TAM you have to go South Before you go further North.Tap is great ,but 1,000 stering per person.16 hrs total flying and waiting time in Lisbon still an expensive route.
