Why is it that there is so much nit picking on here ?! People get so ratty because of differences in opinion.I think visiting a country and living in a country is totally has a different perspective to those that live and breath a country know far more about a place than somebody that visits it because they fancy going on holiday and then maybe buying a place overseas.

I do not think Golfingworld talks crap the same way I do nt talk crap.I know my long term experiences here because I am here and have been for yrs ,people feel offended because they care not to hear the truth and create a facade of fantasy around them
of boom, boom and more boom, well there is nt a boom in Natal at the moment, but there may be in other parts of Brasil, because it s too bloody awkward to get to and costly.

"Shooting yourself in the foot springs to mind".......high prices into Brazil NE or anywhere else is simple...there isn't enough traffic and there isn't enough flights! Why isn't there enough traffic, because the airline market in South America is more restricted than anywhere else in the world. So free up the supply and you find the real demand...exactly the opposite of what you suggested. As for domestic flights taking up the capacity of Natal airport, we have been over this debate time and time again and it is poppycock. The fact is that people don't want to go there in volume at the prices offered exactly as Dotty said. Maybe they'll rush there when the Reis drops as all these tourist operators are now holding Forex!

Just read the PM which was to try and help an investor who I though had some sense, but now I realise he s also in cockoo palace. To try and help somebody does not need to be exchanged with % ,not in my case anyway !Now he is the loser, but he could get intouch with MBush who is extremely nice and competent and has a property company online ,as he covers all types of areas.

Ok, so the fact that the flights that do go to Natal are always full at the high prices they charge is something that should just be ignored?

If Brazil is so restrictive why are flights cheaper to Salvador and Recife? Is it because there is a "Natal Cartel" or is it because there is a lot more capacity at the Salvador and Recife airports and therefore more competition.

Are you saying because Salvador and Recife have more to offer and therefore are more attractive to visitors flights cost less?

What sort of ports do you mean, shipping or air?

It could be possible that if the demands there then flight prices would be cheaper, but I do not call 900,00 sterling for a flight reasonable in July?August.Do you??It s a complete rip off and because I have no choice as I live in Brasil I have to pay for it .

The point is Dotty is that you have paid 900 quid and if you didn't someone else would have.
