Default Elegance Gran Natal/travelling There

Hi All , I'm Really Debating If I Should Reserve Next Week For My Three Bedroom Penthouse In Gran Natal. One Of My Concerns Is How To Get There From Toronto. It Seems As Though There Are No Direct Flights FROM TORONTO. Need To Go To Sao Paulo first Then Take Another Plane To Get To Natal. Does Anyone Know How To Get there From Toronto.

Also, They Could Not Tell Me What The Maintenance Fees Are Going To Be Or Property Taxes.

Hi Tony,
I have the same problem. I live in Montreal and it seems I would have to take the same route. My best advice would be to check with a travel agent who specializes in Brazil. Websights like Expedia are not much help if your not travelling to places like Sao Paulo or Rio. You could also try to get a connecting flight from Panama to Salvador to Natal. It would be shorter than going south to Sao Paulo then back north again.
Please let me know how your trip went as I am seriously considering buying a place at Gran Natal as well.

Fernando

I heard on another forum that there is a weekly TAM flight from Miami to Salvador if that helps.

Hi all,

There are lots of brazil flights being introduced in the next few years so keep an eye out for them!

I know that doesnt help the current flight situation but it will be easier in a few years time Im sure!

I live in the UK and direct flights to Brazil were only launched this year by 2/3 tour operators only!
But yet again Im sure time will tell!!

Good luck- D

Hi All,

Regarding UK flights, you can also travel on both charter and scheduled airlines via Amsterdam, Lisbon and Madrid. I am going in 2 weeks to Rio, then Salvador then Natal then back to Rio all via Madrid for 1050 euros on Iberia, which is pretty good for peak season.

You all have to remember that the Spaniards, Portuguese, Dutch, Germans, Norwegians and Swedish have been holidaying over there for years, so always look at sites over in those countries.

US and Canada I don't know much about, but I was sure that a Canadian charter landed last time I was at Natal airport, sorry but I don't remember the airline name.

DeeDee maybe you should start a sticky thread so people can also put in specials and any new flights they have found for reference.

Regards,
Rob.

HI All,

I just heard a whisper that Gran Natal may have some issues with the licensing (i.e. it doesn't have one) and issues regarding the ownership of the land because of the convoluted deal made with the previous land owner by the developers.

This came from a reputable source with no hidden agenda so far as I can tell, so get your lawyer to do the Due Diligence before doing anything.

Default Re: Gng Licences!!!

Hi all,

I hope that planning licences are obtained I cant see why not???

The project has been launched in a huge way and I cant see the developers going through such a large and expensive advertising campaign to launch it backed by antonio, ronaldo and the brazil govenors if they thought that the licences or planning would not go through!!

It was only last week I saw an article where ronaldo was shaking the hands brazilian government officials at the launch in madrid- the only thing was most of the article was in portugese so I didnt understand a word Im afraid!!!

See ya D

P.S- LISA does this mean that if the licence/PROJECT doesnt go through/ahead we all get refunded the reservation deposits weve paid OR NOT...????

Tony,

I think with the complificated flight issues, it is even more of a reason to invest as prices are still low becasue of it. Once the airport completes and direct flights to Natal become available, you would have already missed a main growth period.

Cheers
