I hope so....but reality is that the early investors should have made good money by now and although great profits are still possible ...the market suddenly has a huge choice of projects etc or land divisions to buy into.... there fore competative pricing due to large competition.
For those building developements there is a rosy future in my opinion but the large gains have gone and huge price rises are not so frequent. Just a steady rise in equity will be a much safer and less volatile future for all of us.

If you have the capital (i.e. £500k minimum in ready cash) and the stomach for the risk there are plenty of deals around. We organise structured deals with very high returns in RN (Ceará soon) and there is still plenty of business going on..

you don't have the newest infos of WArapuru. The embargo has been lifted last year. they stopped this year again because of financial problems, but later this year they will start again, and finish their Resort .

That sentence kind of had me stumped too.

Who wouldn't know that Costa do Sauípe isn't on the Bahia coastline?

But Costa do Sauípe IS on the Bahia coastline? Well, part of it anyway, of course the golf course goes inland and there is a part which is on a lagoon but it's all pretty much coastline.

Anyway, someone not knowing about a development certainly doesn't prove that they work in real estate in Brazil, if anything, quite the opposite.

Someone here mentioned Warapuru though - does anyone have any more news on that development? As I mentioned last I heard it had been stopped due to environmental issues?

Talk about timing Thanks for that, had been looking around for more info but hadn't managed to find any more recent articles specifically confirming the embargo was lifted. Good to know because it looks a nice project. Oh and the capital issue should have been solved as i did find out they got a recent (month or so ago) capital injection of 14 mill US$ - which had me boggled considering I only had the embargo info and which made me start looking for proof that the embargo was gone.

the capital injection was also last year, from banco do nordeste. But this money had been spend also all as well..... they rely now only on their own funds. They stopped to build in the beginning of this year, and should have started again this month. But it seems they will start again only in september. All houses have been sold. They had not only a embargo , but also problems with employees, and stopped a couple of month because of this , too, last year. They won't make any profit , but they bought a second coast front, just on the right side of their land, and will build more houses in the future.

They received another capital injection this year from a UK based investment fund, at least that is what the fund is telling their shareholders.

Hi My name is Jacqui, i purchased a 399m plot of land on the plantation near belmonte Bahia April 2007, my plan was to keep it for around 4 years , however i need to free up my cash for financial reasons in the uk. Does anyone know of an estate agent that can help me market the land or anyone know of someone who is willing to buy. the land is also being marketed by ready 2invest at the moment and they are selling 360m plots for £15000 + they charge a finders fee of £1500. I am happy to sell my 399 plot for a quick sale at £15000. I'd like to hold on to the land longer but financialy can't afford to so any help would be gratefully appreciated.

hmmm.....

strange. the first 22 Villas and hotel complex are far away to be finished.
Harmattan had contracted NM for the construction, but due to delay problems , they changed , and contracted Odebrecht. The construction is only on about half way - that meens it will take at least another 1,5 Years to finish the first 22 Villas and Hotel complex , and - if there was spend 120 Mio Reais up to now, it will take at least another that much to finish the first part - left side with Hawaizinho beach. Why they catch money on the market at this time point for the second part, sounds very strange to me.
