Why the aggression Mineiro from your first post you sounded like a cool new poster. Travelling in Bahia, I have never been north of Praia de Forte.

Lets set this out clearly

1) I don’t sell property or land in Brazil
2) I have no interest in seeing my corner of Brazil swarmed with golf resorts condos and gringo investors. 'searching for the next Marbella'
3) I have no interest mega resorts (unless they are on my doorstep like the Waraparu and threaten to close a good surfing beach).
4)Calm down geezer

I am personally here to learn from other expats and to share my honest experience of living and doing business in Brazil.

The construction is only on about half way - that meens it will take at least another 1,5 Years to finish the first 22 Villas and Hotel complex , and - if there was spend 120 Mio Reais up to now, it will take at least another that much to finish the first part - left side with Hawaizinho beach. Why they catch money on the market at this time point for the second part, sounds very strange to me.
All the skilled people I know who worked there, and had relocated from Sao Paulo family’s and all, have left town for good. I guess it will restart, but it will be hard to attract the higher level skill sets back again. Especially as good jobs are easy to get nearer to home right know.

Good luck to you Angelo...
Dave I think it's probably safer to say that you're full of ****. If not , instead of focussing on typing errors why don't you answer the original question? If tourism is booming here in Brazil ,why has the Costa de Sauipe resort only ever made a profit in 1 year since its inauguration? Especially since internationally it's the best known resort in Brazil . Why has it continually lost millions ? Where are your foreign tourists ?
But I suppose you would know best. Especially since you have no personal interest in promoting Brazil !

Hi Mineiro,
not looking for a fight (as seem to be a few going on) but I had never heard of cosat da sauipe resort before today - so maybe not the most internationally known.

Angelo
checked out pics of your place in itacare think i actually know where it is - i looked at (probably one of your) plots nearby. at the end of the curve on top of the hill (left of dirt track) away from your place (if it is the right place). views down steep forested hill and sea beyond - was a small concrete hut on stilts on site. got some pics somewhere.
oh and the guy with the place at prainha is the hang loose bloke.

take it easy

Coqueiro, first of all Costa de sauipe is south of Praia do Forte and secondly I don't need calming down . I have no coastal property and have no personal interest in this matter. However I don't agree with the salesmen and co who are constantly overhyping Brazil purely for their own financial benefit. I love living here in Brazil but I wouldn't want to deceive people into investing here in Brazil if they weren't going to live here full time and were looking for substantial property increase. Brazil's a great place to live but it's not a great place to make a quick buck investing in off plan properties. Sorry if you thought I was being agressive but the amount of **** that's being touted on this site is quite remarkable.

Costa do Sauipe must have moved since last time I was there, it used to be about 45km's north of Praia do Forte.

Well do know what Rob you're probably right. However if you care to pick at little details instead of answering the main question then I suppose that speaks volumes for you. Little things please etc.

Zen Spa Properties
"Innovative Norwegian design combined with Brazilian rustic charm"- in other words Ikea on the beach.
119000 pounds for a semi detached villa that so far hasn't been built. I wouldn't say that's "well under market value", especially when you can buy a Terravista golfing villa on a golf course that actually exists with 4 bedrooms for slightly more.

They are not intended to give a financial return as this is my family residence. I am a developer of beachfront condo projects and also own the construction company.

Capote is like a guinea fowl. Have you ever visited Ceará ? This is very cearense.

And....Eusébio is not in the periferia de Fortaleza... You don't have to take my word for it ... but i'm 100% sure.

As the fruit, coconuts, chickens, dogs etc are all within my family residence and land, I don't need any financial return from them...just a bonus really. I construct beachfront condo projects and have my own construction company.

Capote is like a guinea fowl and is a typical Cearense name. Have you ever been to Ceará ?

Eusébio is not in the periferia de Fortaleza. It has its own prefeitura. 100% sure.
