We now Q5 plot 7 had to move as Q7 would be a while in starting
Better throw away that guide book... they speak portgues in Brazil, not Brazilian. Take a look through google aswell, and you will also find out about Salsa. I have been living here 4 years
and you will find that in a Spanish club....maybe. Remember ""portuguese" is different to "spanish", although I am sure you group it all together. Sounds like not many understand much about where they plan to live.

When I was last in Brazil and according to the oracle they speak Brazilian Portuguese in Brazil which differs from Portuguese therefore the offical language musy be Brazilian Portuguese, as for learning Salsa I am also learning the Viennese walse and the Highland fling I do not necessarily think I have to live in either country to enjoy its dance. When I find a venue that teaches Samba I will give that a go too.

I have lived in Britain for a number of years and I would have thought it was universal that calling someone darling you have no relationship would be deemed as patronizing as is making assumption about how or what I do or don’t do, know or do not know.

Sorry to some of you that I bombarded with lets be friends messages that I discovered if I clicked my username - I wondered what they were! Anyway, I think I can contact newcomers this way as onnly I and the receipient see the message. have sent arcos67 a message so he can join the email group.
Hi Debbie,

I think you have to be signed in to view active users from the front page and they would need to be logged in also.

I keep checking for arcos67 to be logged in, other than that if he/she keeps messaging us they will be able to PP soon.

Karen

Hi Karen
Sorry, I've got my numbers muddled - but you are now on our side so thats nice, I quite fancy a Highland Fling after lunch!!
So, Q5 (us) is starting sooner than Q3 and Q7. When are you hoping that we'll be finished?
Debbie
PS I've noticed that when we're online there's a big blue dot next to our usernames.

Do Australians speak Australian ?? Again... change your teacher whoever it is. I told my Brazilian wife this morning she speaks Brazilian, and she asked me if I was drunk.

I would concentrate on more of the language learning than anything else before you reside over here. After that, taking-up Karati would be much more useful in Brazilian daily life than Salsa dancing.

All the best .

The real problem here is that most Brits think that in Brasil the language IS Spanish and are usually not aware even of the other countries in South America and the languages spoken in those too..............much as North ,South,East and West of............??????

Hi Debbie,

I am not very familiar with this system but I have not seen any other message.
Does it help if we are logged in at the same time?
If this is the case, I will log in tomorrow evening.

Jose
