The development is only 1.5km from the sea and in the contract etc it is written in that the developer will build it. I can provide all the information needed for this development. The plots that are left now start at 15,750 Euros for a 350sq/m plot with outline planning for a 3 bed villa with 3x2 private pool. A major hotel chain is taking on the hotel so there are no worries at all on this development.

PLease contact me if i can help you any more, we have everything that an investor could need and the contract and been check by my Uk lawyer and everything is in place. I am that happy with this development that you can reserve a plot for 1,000 Euros and if the lawyer you choice find anything wrong with the contract that we can not sort out we will refund the 1,000 euros back to you straight away

Cheers
The only problem then is that it's in Paraiba also known as one of the poorest states in Brazil. Do you see many dead horses and donkeys by the roadside?

Paraiba will be supoerb investment in the next few years, rate as one of the top 4 places to buy in Brazil for investment by Amanda Lamb in the place in the sun magazine.

No dead donkeys by the road side, but i guess its no an investment that you would look at. Where would you recommend then ?

Pleased for you and Amanda Lamb. I hope she likes her house there- surely she's already bought one. I'm not talking about investment, I'm talking about the actual state. There's many beautiful places in Africa too. I just wouldn't want to buy a house there. And I'm sure that you've seen the dead horses and donkeys by the roadside. After all it's one of the highlights of driving around the Nordeste.

Yes you will see dead horses and donkeys even cows i would not say this is a highlight of driving in the northeast i would say it makes driviving dangerous and its also very sad to see the animals suffering in this way.
Paraiba is a beautiful state anyone who as been to JP will know its a clean modern city with some beautifull beaches. The state of Paraiba is a poor state ,alot of the poverty is found inland in the farming districts

I can see many europeans and north Americans wanting to relocate to Paraiba with its clean air and almost no crime rate and plenty of good restaurants and a newly extended shopping mall.

The Paraiba tourist minister has promised International flights for a while now but to date no news on this although close to Recife 90 minutes with International flights from Lisbon and from Atlanta starting decmber 22nd 4 weekly flights.

Regardinfg the lots one would need to visit the area and decide whether to invest or not buying unseen is not a good idea.

I personally like JP althogh i find it a quiet city i guess im used to living in Firtaleza .

WOW. A newly extended shopping mall. Plenty of good restaurants- good compared to what? Almost no crime rate at least untill the tourists start appearing. I don't think European or American tourists like seeing poverty.

I guess then Brazil is not for you ?

Joao Pessoa and the area around Jacuma etc are worth investing in (which is where Palma Do Mar is ). There are lots going on and it is a very good investment but may be not for you,

Cheers BLC, its good to hear that someone agrees

Where do you live? From your e-mail it seems to be in the UK. I'm sure Brazil's not for you. Why don't you go and sell property in London , now that the market's crashed it should be easier.

You're quite right , after all I've only lived in Brazil for 15 years now. I'm sure you have far more knowledge of Brazil. I've been to JP and apart from some nice colonial architecture, it was fairly disapointing especially the hotels and restaurants. Don't most things look nicer on a television or computer screen?

And as far as Iraq is concerned ,there are fewer people killed per year by gunfire there than in Brazil. Happy investing or are you perhaps selling?

Most of the killings are in the favelas and most people are aware of this problem amongst the gangs.

Ok you are not keen on JP and i respect that so you are living where? and i guess there is no poverty in your area or dead horses on the roa?

After 15 years we would like to hear your remarks on this forum did you never think of moving from Brazil if its so bad?

im selling yes but not on this forum and not in JP .Based in Fortaleza.
