Looking for house at Black sea coast

My partner and I are looking to move to Bulgaria this year. We have just sold our house and once the sale is complete we are looking to come over and spend a few weeks househunting. We are aiming to be completely moved by September. We are looking slightly inland from the Black sea coast. We would really like to get in touch with other Brits, who are over there for friendship, share experiences etc. Steve is 39yrs and I am 32yrs with no children.

Hi there,

We have house 15 minutes inland from Balchik (40 minute drive north of Varna) and move out in April. We are both mid 30's with 3 kids. The lady we bought from knew we were English and we did pay more than a Bulgarian would have done, but as we wanted to settle in the village, felt it would be better to be upfront rather than offend the locals by diddling the old lady out of her pension! They have all been wonderful with us.
