Did you get a mortgage sorted out Moneymaker? I had mine pre-arranged with CSIF.. they just neeed me to show my most recent salary documentation when I need to call on the mortgage later this year.In theory, it should be quite quick for me... hopefully!

I SEE YOU HAVE REPLIED ,STATING THE WORDS ,,OF COURSE,,WHEN I CAME BACK YESTERDAY,IT SHOCKED ME ,THAT ALL OF MY FRIENDS HAVE BOUGHT OUT THERE WITHOUT ACTUALLY VISITING.THEY ARE NOW WELL BEYOND THE FIRST FLOOR,AND AFTER MEETING WITH THE BULGARIAN DEVELOPER,MAY I JUST SAY I PERSONALLY FEEL PERUN LODGE TO BE ONE OF THE BEST INVESTMENTS OUT THERE

BELIEVE ME YOUR MORTGAGE WILL BE NO PROBLEM IF YOUR BANK STATEMENTS SHOW NO OVERDRAWS,AND WAGE SLIPS SHOW YOU CAN AFFORD IT,BUT REMEMBER THE BUILDING MUST BE COMPLETE TO GET YOUR MORTGAGE,HOPEFULLY YOU AND THE BUILDER HAVE AGREED THAT NO FINAL PAYMENT,,IE MORTGAGE,,HAS TO BE PAID UNTIL THE PROPERTY IS FULLY COMPLETE,,IF THIS IS NOT THE CASE JUST REMEMBER THE BUILDER WILL WANT PAID ON TIME,WHETHER YOUR MORTGAGE CAN BE PUT IN PLACE OR NOT,,THERE ARE GOOD PENALTY CLAUSES,BENIFITTING YOU IF THE WORK IS NOT COMPLETE BY DEC 08,BUT THIS DOES NOT HELP YOU MUCH IF YOU NEED THE MORTGAGE TO PAY HIM,AND IT CANNOT BE OBTAINED DUE TO INCOMPLETE WORKS..

Hi Moneymaker,

Many thanks for the update.. I first visited about this time last year before they had started building.. I actually went to see another property (5 mins from lift !!!) which of course ended out to be the other side of town in the middle of nowhere... but at the same time arranged to also meet Mark from MGM Properties. Very nice guy and extreemly helpful. He drove me around for almost 2 days and we looked at everything! His view was Perun Lodge was also one of the better arrangements (for many reasons) and that the bank were involved inthe ownership too... hence the penalty clauses attributed to the build *I believe?). I wanted something around 100 sqM so I bought two of them together and they will convert it to a single 2 bedroom apartment, the only one in the block I believe. The build is tied-up with the bank and the therefore the mortgage and also their lawyers and the finance arrangers. Kind of all your eggs in one basket, but it does make life easy having everything pre-arranged.. just need to stay employed!!
I'm not buying this as a short term investment, I'm there for the long run... and I think Perun Lodge is certainly a good buy... a bit more expensive than some of the others, but hey.. you get what you pay for in life

yeh most people seem to be going the other way and splitting their apts into studios, thus to many studios available for rent,so i think you are going the right way my friend,as there will be a shortage of family accomidation in perun lodge.will benifit your rental in peak season, but you are looking at it the right way ..you have to be in for the long haul,,your furniture package is first class by the way

the cost of a studio now is 63000 fully furnished,do you recall what they were when you were out,,,of course these are ones that folk have split from larger rooms thus probably smaller than the standard studios
