Default Aheloy Beach residence. Anyone with info?

Hello!
I've bought an apartment in the Aheloy Beach residence project. It has been very silent on the website since july 2007. Does anyone have some info about the progress of the project? I'm in Phase 2 royal park

THx

Hi Guys,

In response to your posts, I have also purchased an appartment in Royal park (Building K) of Aheloy Beach Residence.

I travelled over to see the progress in August of last year and unfortunately at that time the construction had not begun on "Building K" however the foundations were in for the surrounding Building "Royal Palace" and the rough construction was completed for both "Royal Garden" and "Royal Court."

I was in contact with other people who went out in Late September and Early October and they said that construction was underway on our Building but not to any great extent. I would expect this to be well advanced at this stage. The completion date for the property, as I am aware, is November of this year with first rental due in April/May of 2009.

I would also like to see some updated pictures of the construction as I have my doubts as to whether "Building K" will be completed on time. However some consolation can be taken from the people who went out in Early October in that they reported a substantial amount of progress being made subsequent to my visit.

I hope this is of some use to you,

Regards,
aviationhead!

Thanks both of you. And Aviationhead, I have not been there to check it out myself, but the info you give is very helpful. I have asked Platinum scandinavia about updated pictures and they replied straight away and will give me the pictures soon (I hope). I also got information that lots of focus have been on the sunset resort pomorie, but now the focus is directed towards Aheloy beach residence, and they assured me that the project will not be delayed. So we can only wait and see.

And I was wrong when I said Royal park, I actually bought the apartment in Royal _place_ building M. Did you see any progress on that building?

Cheers

Hi Again,

When I was over there I stayed in Sunset Resort and I have to say (sounding quite like a Platinum rep!) that it was absolutely amazing. Words could not describe how visually stunning it was and the service was first class. There were plenty of tourists there along with us "investors" so it wasnt as if the company tried to impress us. We were told that Aheloy was going to be in excess of twice the size of Sunset resort while being closer to the amenities of Sunny Beach.

Apart from that, while I was over there last August, your building had just had its foundations laid. When talking to the people who went over in October they told me that a fair degree of progress had been made at that stage and that was only in the space of two months. I dont know exactly how much progress but they were certainly impressed, however My building had yet to be started, and I suppose I was a little worried about this.

I am Dealing with Platinum Ireland and have been assured, like yourself, that all is going according to plan and construction should be completed by the November target originally proposed by them.

I would be very grateful If you could email the pictures to me, If you get the time. I also have some pictures taken in august which contain the foundations of your building but I will not be in a position to forward them to you for a couple of weeks.

Hope this helps and If you have any other questions relating to the area I'd be happy to attempt to answer them from my perspective. All I can say is that If the finish of Aheloy is to the same standard as Sunset, we will all be very happy with our investments!

Hi again, and thanks for the extended info
From what I have heard, Platinum is a very good company which delivers on time and with the promised standard. Very cool to hear that you were impressed with Sunset, that gives me hope that Aheloy will be the same! I'm willing to give PDI the benefit of the doubt.

I will surely check back on this forum often and I will send you any pictures I receive when I get them... Hope it won't take long. I'm currently on very bad internetconnection in Australia(the country still in the stoneage of internet) but I will try to send them anyway, maybe not in full rez.

Allright, talk to you later future neighbour

BTW. aheloybeachresidence(dot)com got a new design now, but no updates as far as I can tell.

Hi,

Sorry to throw cold water on this, but I'd be extremely cautious with your dealings here. You may have seen some of the negative press regarding platinums previous development, sunset resort.

There are a group of investors whom platinum have completely ripped off to the tune of over 500,000 euros, as when they took over sunset resort they promised our deposits back but kindly kept them!

I'm also in contact with numerous investors who proceeded with sunset resort who are now having a nightmare (illegal occupation, theft, rental problems and all the rest).

I don't need to repeat everything thats been said already, do an internet search and I think you will find plenty.

If you have not invested already then I wouldn't recommend it, if you have then good luck, I hope things work out better than for many others.
