Fall in House Prices?

Hello,
There was a report in one of the papers the other day that house prices are going to continue to increase for the next 10 years! Is this an accurate prediction do you think or will we see a fall in prices sooner than that? All the conflicting reports can be confusing and I'm not sure whether to hold off buying my own property in the hope that prices take a tumble soon. Any suggestions/advice very welcome!

Hi Lukas,
Who knows? If you can afford to buy a house then do so but ensure you have contingency built in case interest rates rise by up to 5 percent. There's pressure on the European interest rates at the moment so it's probable that interest rate rises will be the biggest threat to you financially.
