looking to buy a house in west crete

My husband and I are looking to buy a property in West Crete, close to Hania airport,
does anyone know of a good builder in the area?

Hi Mandy,

I recently bought an off-plan property after many months of research. There are so many builders to choose from but I heard many horror stories about some. I chose the company that was able to offer me the chance to view some of its finished properties and also to see other houses that were in the process of being built. I could see at the early stages of the build that they insulated their homes well (important not only during the cold season to keep your house warm but also in the summer to keep the house cool.) They also used include a damp-proof course, something that no other builder in Crete uses. And the cost I was quoted included everything from fitted kitchen with appliances to a/c and solar panel.
I would most definitely recommend the company. You should look them up. The company is called Euroland-Crete. Take a look at their website and see for yourself.

Hi there,

I actually live in Chania and work closely with some private owners
and construction companies in Chania, First I advise you to only consider
new and certified buildings, don't bother with old ones....
second don't buy a property on paid viewing trips offers, take your time
the market is in consolidation period and there's plenty of supply!

for own use it's good to ensure clear future views on the surrounding area,
