Some advice please

Hi folks

Please could you give me some advice. My husband and I have been offered jobs in North Cyprus, but the wages are half what we earn in the UK.
We're trying to work out if we can afford to make the move.
Could you give us some idea of costs for the following
*Buying a second-hand car, then petrol and running costs
* Phone/internet connection
* any council tax/water bill equivalent
* weekly food bill
* Do any benefits like child tax credit exist
* meals out
* mortgage rates
* cigarettes

We need to make a decision quickly so any help is much appreciated.

Surely you should visit first, even for a few days.
