I'm still considering renting my studio in Persia out as I am finding it difficult at the moment to go over and furnish it etc. Is anyone in Persia already renting theirs out? Also would I be better to furnish it or leave it unfurnished? I ideally would like to rent it out for maybe 6 months, just enough time for me to be able to go over and furnish it. Do you think it would be possible to get someone to rent it out for just 6 months or would most people be looking to rent longer term? How much are studios renting for at the moment?

You can rent it out for short term. There r certain real estate agencies here that wont charge you a thing and can get it rented out for 6 to ten months. If its furnished afterwards ,you would be able to rent it out quickly because you will stand out in a huge supply of landowners that have unfunished apartments.
