Do your emails say handover or personal appointment confirmed. As I have said before the handover dates given are when the building is handed over. The apartments are then handed over at a later date. This has been the biggest communication problem so far, it's not clearly stated at all. Be careful when booking your flights. You will probably not be given much notice, but still better to wait then going early and not receive your keys (as many have done).
I am going today to take handover of an apartment in Persia, will need to go again for Spain, not be given dates yet. Will let you know how this goes later in the month. Hope there not too many more 'complications'.

Farka

Forgot to say, I was told the handover will probably keep being delayed by the BUILDING OWNER until he receive ALL payments from EVERYONE. Apparently this has also been a reason for many of the delays. Unfair I know(IF ITS TRUE).

I received the following mail from Shirley at Zero4, "...Handover date with reference to the letter received from Nakheel which we have already sent to you is dated 7th June 2007. This date is the handover of key from Nakheel to us. We would take a weeks time to hand it over to the client.." I have already made the final payment.
This is in reference to building IC1-SPA-T7 anyone had any updates?

This is the letter I received via email from zero4:

"We regret to inform you thta the Master Developer, Nakheel, have just now informed us that they are not in a position to handover the building as per dates earlier informed by them.
We expect to hear from them the revised handover dates around 17th June 2007.
Please be informed thta this is as per the advice from Nakheel and the revised dates are not final. Our handover transition guidelines will be couriered to you as soon as we get the official letter from Nakheel confirming the final handover dates.
We are extremely sorry for any inconvience caused and advice all our valued customers to schedule the travel arrangements after receiving our handover transition guidelines."

Did everyone else receive the same letter?

Yes, I just got this letter today. I thught there was a clause in the contract that if Nakheel delay handover they must inform 30 days in advance that the date has changed. Anyone read something similar, i'll have a look and try and find it.

Hi All
I have 2 studio's in Spain building No.IC1-SPA-T7. As of yet I have not recieved any correspondance from Zero4 as to the handover date other than to wait for further instructions before booking any trips to Dubai. I am currently in the process of paying the final payment ,but will probably hold back until I hear further from them. I have also noticed that some of the others in Spain sector owners have had letters stating that it has been delayed. To date I have not recieved any letters from them stating this.

Hope this helps

Default Delays

I received a call from Zero4 today to say that they received a letter from Nakheel on May17 to inform them of the delays in handover and that Nakheel will write again around mid June with the new handover dates. Zero4 have no idea how long the handovers will be delayed.... back to square one again!!!
