last month I called Al-Attar properties to check the status of Toronto/Vancouver tower. They gave me the contact number of the project manager for these appartments. His name is Mr. Bipin.

I talked to him he mentioned that the developement for these appartments will start in 2 months and after that it will take 22 month of construction time.

Last week I called Mr. Bipin again, and the informed that the construction office has been setup and will be staffed soon, construction to begin in a month.

Can any one swing by the site to check if the construction office is there.

Many thanks for this update. I however don't trust anything these Al Attar people say anymore. They started saying two months time from last year each time I enquired about this project.

Does anyone know how much a 2 Bed in Vancouver/Toronto towers cost now? I saw one advertised on Better Home website for AED 870K. Any ideas?

Further to all the delaying tactics being used by Al Attar, regarding the project delays on Toronto Tower and Global Point towers, I am now instigating legal action against Al Attar for fraud alongside other charges.
If there are other parties who would consider becoming a part of this class action suit against Majid Al Attar - we have representation in Dubai and in London, please contact me in confidence via a PM.

hi, sorry for taking so long to reply - been away.

i am buying through best homes emirates, which i believe is a different developer to yours,
Al Attar are a very wealthy family, owning many existing buildings but i quess you know that already.

i was out in dubai august last year & went to phase III, the whole area is still very much in the early stages, the infrastructure seems to be under way, i drove around the large 'roundabout' that we are located on, i saw evidence of some activity - but not much.
i am in dubai early february & plan to visit site then.

have you received details regarding rera, ie has your building been registered?
please let me know a private email/contact details im not sure how to send a pm!
