Have you got a sales contract? That will say something about the property. If you have paid 50% then you should have it by now.

The sales contract should give you some confidence regarding the concern for your apartment. I don't know the legality like what the contract means in terms of ownership of apartment. But I guess you are more concerned about the developer and the status of the construction of the tower?
