I also recently pulled out of Sports City, in Stadium point. The developers, Profile, had 30% of the flat price from me, but no work was ensuing, and no contract forthcoming.
This went on for too many months, I had too many heated arguments with them, and eventually coaxed my 50k sterling back, even made 4k on the exchange rate, so that wasn't bad.
I feel i may have let a good flat slip by, and believe it will probably be completed, and worth double, but the getting to that point was causing me too much stress and I hated the way laws could just change overnight.
In all, I'm relieved to just be out of Dubai with my money back, even though i still believe it will be a unique and fantastic city in the future.
To the people still in, i wish you luck, I believe if you stick it out you will still do well, but i also think that owners will be forced to pay top dollar for amenity service charges etc, and the whole general flat ownership/renting it out thing will be constant headaches, not really easy money i think.

I bought from Seaview Luxury homes London (also known as Seaview Dubai ). They work only
with Al Rahat Homes Dubai (ltd Level 41 Emirates Tower SZ Road Dubai UAE) an app. in Asia
Residence Tower in Ajman ELT.

Seaview and Al Rahat Homes present themselves as developers but its nothing else then
commission agents, who put a folder in each other with copy and paste.

They collect money, but never have the intension to build something. It is a large
scandal and fraud and I have also mailed ITV homes from Hell in their trade manner.

I have me ask my money back because a lack or progress and complying their obligations.
They refused. I soon go to the police force in London top fill charges against Seaview
and inform the authorities of the UAE ans Embassy overhere abouthe practise of Al Rahat
Homes

Of course it does not remain. The rest I will keep for me…..
