Terra Del Sol 1&2 Owners

I have booked a flat in Terra Del Sol 1 with Damac. Few months after booking and paying money, I found out that the project was actually being developed by Nakheel. Secondly that after my booking, the concept was modified (possibly scaled down), the same flats were sold at a considerably lower price. I would like to hear from other people in the same predicament as I.

Does anyone have any observations on how badly it has been scaled down ?

You will find that most of the developments in dubai are like this. Nakheel and Emaar are the master developers and then hand out the project to the contracted party. In this case it is damac. Damac do alot of their own projects, but sometimes work is carried out by a 3rd party and in this case it was Nakheel. In terms of the investment it is still a very good one.

Yes We have also booked three flats in tera del sol- in deceber 2004, thinking it is a damac property and not nakheel, at much higher price then market even to date.

damac did not reveal the fact that they are not the developer and marely acting as sales agents or broker, despite of our several reminders we have not yet got any satisfactory reply todate.

Our demand is simply refund our money as it is not what we were promised to get.

how can this be good investment as current market price for same flats in discovery garden i.e. same development are considerably cheaper today, we were sold this as damac property without even mentioning nakheel name.

Hi there guys, I too am a buyer of Terra Del Sol properties. Im keen to keep them but feel alittle bit cheated by Damac Properties. Maybe we all can discuss our options and then file a compliant or issues to Damac?
Does anyone have any contact details for people in Damac?
I think I have head offices number etc?

Please can get back to us so we can start to form a plan in the next week or so.
