Safest to deal with the top names. I bought at IC due to it being Nakheel, and through Better Homes. Even though Nakheel has its own issues, they are a bit more trustworthy than developers whose side-businesses include gold trading, political TV or catering.

I also brought because Nakheel marketed the Project as a "Master Project" However I would never by again from Nakheel, just read the threads on Customer Service or lack of from Nakheel.

Nakheel do not want any thing to do with you the apartment owner, they will only deal with the building owner,just try ringing the help line and mention International City.

Sorry I disagree that Nakheel are more trust worthy, take a look at the maintanence fees!! Absolute day light robbery.

Then take a look at what Nakheel promised would be delivered at the International City when they first promoted the project....

Nakheel have issues as you mentioned but they just do not seem to be able to deal with them in a prompt manner.

But hey! may be I am expecting to much ... I only brought the property because it mentioned Nakheel Master project....

You could say that Nakheel is the lesser of numerous evils. I myself haven't had any problems dealing with their customer service when I called in maintenance twice to fix stuff in my apartment.

I have six phone-type sockets in my studio. I didn't get any connections since I don't stay there.

Du apparently has an office at IC too, somewhere near the Nakheel field office, according to my building owner's rep.

DU= DU Nothing

DU= Dont Understand
