You can build a tower for 20-24 months but not for the prices from 2005
Now to build such a tower in such a short time you need to pay more than double.
If you find a cheap builder could easily take 36-40 months.

All the projects sold 2-3 years ago and not started by now will be cancelled or the design will be changed.

The developers of the lagoons, COA, JVC, SC, Motor city and many more are just about to rewrite the existing contracts with the investors

Where are you getting this information from? If you are just speculating please state so, as this kind of talk causes distress unnecessarily. If you know facts, then please let me know.

Not speculating just having a common sense and also invested partly in one of the above projects.
Now you tell me what is going to happen with all the delayed by couple of years projects?
Have in mind that all the prices are double for the last 2 years

All I have to say is that at the moment Ajman which is only half hour drive on Emirates road from Dubai is selling projects at around 500 AED per sq. ft. If the developers there can afford to build at such price I am sure the developers of the projects sold three years ago in Dubai like the one I have bought a unit can do so. My developer has given me no indication that the project will be shelved or the contracts will be renegotiated. People are getting so much concerned that George took a snap of Arabian Crowne fencing with the crane inside and postd it on this forum but everyone had doubts wether it was real. He had to calrify that it was real.

So please stop mentioning negative comments without any poof or foundation. Speculation and rumours to not do any good to anyone.

Your snap confirms the pictures sent by Med to me two months ago. It looks like excavation is going on. Then shoring and piling may go on till the end of this year. Construction is not going to start until next year.

Also did you see any other projects that were under construction in City Of Arabia?
