I have visited this site for the past few months and found it very informative apart from the last week, its sad to see people arguing. Lets get back to the important issues ie when will contruction get started in COA.

I purchased in Wadi Walk back in 2006 it is quite sad work has not started yet. we vsited the site earlier this year and we were told contruction would start no later then August and there would be 20,000 plus worker on site to get the development on track.

If anyone know the price per squ ft for Wadi Walk apartments please let me kinow.

Look forward to any replies, cheers

Default Hmmmmmm

Something has changed !!!

Check out the city of arabia web site.

In the elite towers section it now refers to the 'Wadi Towers' and gives details for Wadi Tower 1. Metro Tower has vanished from the web site altogether.

Good to see and update on the site and a major one at that. watch this space i guess.

Default Wtf !!!!

What the F***

Check the floor plans for Wadi Tower. Totally changed. They do not even match the shape of the building as shown !!!

I have a contract that has a floor plan in it.

Also - ALL mention of high specification and luxurious bathroom, quality fittings etc has VANISHED.

Gentleman - we have been had.

We now have an average tower block.

Thanks IMG.

Default It just gets worse

There are now THREE 2 bed apartment types - there were 2. Only the largest has 2 balconies. Mine, the 1441 sf one had 2 balconies - the A and B versions have a crap looking floor plan and 1 tiny balcony.

I would not have bought this if it looked like this - HOW CAN THEY DO THIS.

To add confusion - two versions of the web site appear to be on line right now. This new one i have not seen before.

Can somebody tell me which is the real one as this one i have seen for the first time is not good. I am hopeful it is an old one as the FAQ claims it will be finished in 2008 - WTF !!!!

Really i do not understand it. They have the land, they have sold the development - why delay?

It makes no commercial sense at all. Could it be that no contractors can be found?
I would grateful if you could let me know how you found out the Wadi Walk was sold out. Do you know the current sqft price.

Default delay???

IMG surely cannot delay any longer. It is surely not credible for them to sell the Octagon and start to release other towers without some activity on site.
