Just realised that you work for Damac, so you know all that Please can you pm me with any details you have about Abu Dhabi? Many thanks
You can still get some good deals in Business Bay with good developers. All you have to do is watch out. I have got some good deals for my friends in Business Bay.

Hang on to your investment, when Infinity Tower is up, it will be a landmark at the Dubai Marina and probably the much sought after address in the Marina

Prices will be the same as the project has not taken of. As the construction starts you will see the appreciation and on handover.... BANG !!.

Nothings lost and all's well that ends well.

Thanks for the input Roshan. I'm thinking along the same lines. I love the tower but it would just be good to see the building actually start!

With all the talk about BBay and the high prices does everyone think that office with residential space in places such as DSO will be attractive as prices should be a good deal less to rent?

DSO ( Dubai Silicon Oasis ) is the only free zone which has pure community living. Other Free zones like BBay & JLT don't have hospitals, schools, parks. Dubai Silicon Oasis has all of that. It becomes easy for people to live, work, school, treat all within the same community. No problems with traffic

DSO is a beautiful development, good location and cheap, the only disdavnatge is that it's a 99 year leasehold and not freehold.

I believe there is nothing to worry if you once have a good luck at the increasing market

It all depends at what stage you entered the market. The earlier you do, the more you will be laughing to the bank.

international city and the gardens are SH##E. Terrible location. Gardens is UGLY looks like a prison and is surrounded by 100m high HV pylons. Awful place. I City is cheap construction and is the last place most expats want to go. These will not affect the proice of quality accommodation. Try renting here - it is a nightmare. Everything decent is gone if you phone after lunch.

I am not an expert in the real estate supply and demand, but we went to the last 2-3 launches of Damac and can tell you that half of the halls were empty and the other half full with Damac staff. Also yesterday I have read that the company cancelled one project at the Dubai Waterfront. It seams the demand is not higher than the supply........or at least I think so......
