Default Silicon Oasis-Who's missing out?

I'm amazed at the lack of coverage on dubai forums of DSO.This is going to become a large commercial hub,a self-contained community with many workers.Easy to rent and good access to major roads. It may be slow getting of the ground but once its properly up and running I think property here will be a better investment than Sports City and Jum Village.

Hi do buy

Why do you think that property in DSO will give higher returns than JVS or DSC ? ? ?

I think it could be a better investment as it will be a commercial hub, full of workers so making it very easy to rent.Plus you have academic city across the road making it even easier to rent.It will also by a city within a city with schools and hospital.I'm not sure about the purpose for Sports City.Great stadiums with very ocassional meaningful sporting events.Who do u rent these properties to.Same goes to JVC,although it will have offices there will not be the potential to rent here like with DSO.

Sport City is next to Bawadi Strip - lots and lots of people are going want to live close to their workplace, the same goes for Silicon Oasis, the whole of Dubai is made up of communities so there is method in developing different areas. Sport City is close to the New Dubai - Jebel Ali Airport and access is easy as it is on Emirates road. Silicon oasis will be just as successful as companies like Microsoft is said to open there. I promote both developments as excellent investment opportunities.

Smoke leads to fire!!! and DSO suddenly came alive again after months of absolutely nothing, one of my investors owns 10 apartments, very concerned last year and now VERY HAPPY with all the speculation she will make at least 80% premium on completion and she is not willing to sell either.... I do have a another development in DSO send me your email, will be happy to assist.

Hello Adrandk, please can u tell me a little more about Microsoft coming to DSO.
I myself have an appartment at Silicon Arch there and a studio at Palace Towers.I'm thinking of selling the studio due to my financial situation being a bit strained but if DSO is about to do really well I'll try to hang on to it.
I've been told that Microsoft want to put 30.000 workers there but I havent read anything concrete.I had hoped the recent visit by Bill Gates would have meant some sort of announcement for DSO.Why is your friend with the 10 units so happy now?

A bit of a long story, but she wanted to sell a few months back, nobody wanted to buy, then suddenly the developer want to take her units back from her (giving her money back as well), the next thing, news that Microsoft will be moving to DSO, she declined and is now secure, the lady is of very high stature in the UAE, that's all I can tell you. No there has not been much said, as usual here in the UAE! We will informed about it suddenly as with every other big investor, the little that leaks is all we know. How much did you pay per sqf for your properties? if you can hold on to them good, but I always say to all my investors - if you want to buy make sure you have the total amount - they are not just my clients but also my dear friends! I would rather not sell than to have a client be pressed with payments.

Andradk I paid 750sq ft for both.I was made two offers last week of 14% premium and15% for the Palace Towers studio but declined to sell.I'm still in two minds what to do.It would be a big help if Microsoft announced something positive concrete.Which building has your client got the ten units in can I ask?I know for sure that since april last year DSO have signed up 93companies to operate from there which is good.It really needs for MSoft to sign up though cos then every other company would take notice.
