Renting 3-4 Bedroom House in Dubai

Welcome all,
My husband will be starting a new job in internet city area next month. I am looking to rent a 3 -4 bedroom place near to his work. I also have to find a school near this area ( as I am considering the bad traffic jams in Dubai).

My daughter will be 5 in July and is currently in reception class here in London. Hopefully we can get her into a good school next month. Not sure which schools to contact as there are no addresses ( only PO Box Nos). I know there are 3 schools within the Springs area but not sure which ones they are. Also heard some of the schools are brand new so unsure whether they are good or not.

Wondering if it is better to drive her to the Jumeirah area or Safa Park area which seems to have more schools. Again not sure which ones.

Any help with school information and renting round that area would be great.

Hey Mathew,
We are also on our way to Dubai most probably and have got loads of info on schools:

we'll be living in Jumeirah and the school that is one of the recommended ones and the one I like most is the Dubai International academy. I don?t want the kids pigeonholed into the US or Brit system and think the way we and they live all over the world means an international education is best for them.

Apart from that the JESS (Jumeirah English school) is the most highly recommended Brit school there.

I hope your employer is paying the school fees - its fairly expensive otherwise!

My husband is currently interviewing for a job that will place our family (2 small boys) in Dubai by the end of June at the VERY latest. I was wondering if anyone had any advice on where to live and if there are bi-lingual pre-schools (age 3). I would prefer either English/Arabic or English/French/Spanish. I am slightly nervous about traveling 10,000 miles from my current home and would like to head into Dubai armed with as much useful information as possible.
