I wouldnt recommend going thru an agent as they'll always try and sell you what they have. The same works for a developer as well. I work for a developer and i know that doesn't sound right coming from me. i have been with the Dubai property market right from it's first announcement in 2000 and i know everything inside out as i am an investor myself. i have a "death by powerpoint" presentation that will give you an insight information on Dubai and why there is still more there. don't get me wrong here, i am not trying to sell you my development here. If you're around the london area, i would gladly meet you and give you more info, facts and figures on paper. you don't have to buy or invest from me, i can give you guidelines and you're free to but from anywhere u want.

I agree with you about the agents.
At the end of the day an agent makes his money from selling a property doesn't matter if its good or not.
I myself look at each property investment as what it is, I will look at all the aspects of it such as location, developer etc. and if I think it is a good one I will go ahead and purchase it (from an agent or the developer).

I have seen something similar to what you are asking for.

if you're thinking of finance from dubai, unfortunately overseas investors can get a maximum of 70%. i believe on certain developments in dubai you can get upto 85% financing from HSBC here in the uk. if you giv me till this afternoon, i might be able to suggest a development for you. did you say you had 50K to invest? can you push your budget a little more?

Its not like that, property market in Dubai is flourishing as ever, there are many gignatic projects going underway, some might be ready by the end of this year. Investing in Dubai, is not a bad decision, so go ahead with your plans.
