Not only JVS projects , but almost all projects in othe rdevelopments like DSC, COA , DIP , BB etc are delayed. Delay is like a normal thing i Dubai. Only road work and metro work is ahead of schedule ! ! !

You should check with the developer to get the latest anticipated completion dates - this will be a lot different to the original completion date. Then as a rule of thumb in Dubai, you add on 3 months.

A lot of people think delay in properties is a bad thing, but you need to look at the bigger picture. I believe Dubai is regulating the # of properties being completed on a yearly basis to continue the trend of Demand being higher than supply.

As of now there is no official news on JVS being delayed, however I believe the regulations will affect some but not all buildings. Again I believe this is a silent regulation they are maintaining.

I disagree with you in what you wrote, because each day in delay cost the constructor a huge amount of money. You have to get the right date for completion from the developer (or depended offices) directly, not from the normal properties offices.

Hi Smile

I agree with you that each day of delay will cost more for the constructor ( and to us investors also).
But its generally ( I repeat, generally ) the dates given by developers spills by atleast 3 to 6 months. There are various reasons beyond their control, I suppose.
bye

Cement shortages are a major factor in delays at the moment.

No Alex. All my projects have been in and aound New Delhi. I have seen the work being done in Dubai and the kind of conditions that exist on Dubai which are much easier than what you get in India. Therefoire its going to be easy managing a project in Dubai.
I am an architect by training, doing mostly turnkey pojects of building, renovation, interiors and heritage building renovations.
