Default Selling unit with tenant

Can someone tell me is it common to sell a unit in dubai with an existing tenant?does this affect the price of the unit also?

it is common,mainly for villas.
I think it does not affect the prices,sometimes it helps in selling.

I can see it may help to sell if u have a tenant if u are a landlord.However,alot of those people who are looking for somewhere to live would not consider somewhere with a tenat especially if the tenants contract has some time to run.Also,would a landlord buy if there was for example 6 months left on a contract?This would mean 6 months before he could earn any rental income.
