Las Cabanas is about a 20 minute drive from Marsa Alam Airport. Thomas Cook fly to this airport. Alternatively you can fly to Hurghada. The drive from Hurghada Airport to Las Cabanas takes around 1hr 45mins.

Hi Alan, what does Phase 1 consist of and how much of this has been sold?

Is the 24 month interest free facility still available even for appts that may be ready in March 2009? In addition, what management arrangements/rental agreements are available?
I visited your website but not sure whether prices still correct?

Hi Chris

Currently Apartment blocks 1, 2, 12 and 13 have been released for sale - each having 24 apartments. Only 28 apartments are available today. 11 out of the 59 sea-view villas are still available, and 6 of the 14 garden-view villas that were released for sale are still available.

Yes, all properties can be paid for in 8 equal quarterly payments (interest free) over 24 months from exchange of contracts. But all purchasers have the option of paying off the outstanding balance and taking possession of their property when it is ready.

The Developer is still discussing rental/maintenance arrangements with the Sentido Oriental Dreams Resort - the 4-star hotel that is located on site at Las Cabanas. I can let you have the details once sorted.

The price/availability lists on our website are up-to-date, and in fact I've just uploaded the latest ones today!

Alan, thanks very much for this. When will these blocks be ready and when will further blocks be for sale?

I'm tempted but would need to re-finance and even then depends on deal available.

Blocks 12 & 13 will be completed early 2010 and Block 2 will be completed mid 2010.

The Developer hasn't finalised which Blocks they will be marketing next, but they are close to finalising with Sentido what benefits the residents of Las Cabanas will get at the Resort Hotel - i.e. special discounts on room rates, food and beverages, housekeeping, laundry services, and Spa Club activities.
