Ocean blue - sahl hasheesh - red sea riviera properties

I saw ocean blue a couple of weeks ago. They consist of 2 small buildings and I think have 3 or 4 floors. The position of them is beautiful and it looks as though they are going to have 2 pools.

Thanks for the info, yes i agree it looks beautiful but i have my concerns.
im going to salh hasheese again tomorrow with a trip to ocean blue.
will pass on any info i get.

Hi roomrevival
had a good trip looking round sahl hasheesh and ocean blue, from the lack of building work going on at ocean blue don't think they will be ready much before the end of next year.
tried to contact the developer with no joy, but did chat with some developers there who were very helpful and some holidaymakers who had already spoken to the developer/architect of ocean blue with the view to buying an apartment, they were not impressed as he said that he had various plots that he had developed then sold, one being a beautiful green and white villa (completed) which he said he sold to a heart specialist who has now died, this i found to be untrue as the said villa was built one of the owners of sahl hasheesh who is very much alive. they also said that the developer of ocean blue had been very inconsistant with his tales of land ownership and bussiness.
i have however put a holding deposit on an apartment to be completed in late 2009 which is close to ocean blue.

Hi suzie 1958 - At what stage was Ocean Blue? Did you have a look around the apartments? Think they were scheduled to be working on the swimming pools this week.
The apartments will be ready much quicker than the end of next year. Our has had the porcelain floor tiles and bathroom tiles fitted this week.
Am surprised you could not get in touch with the developer. I checked the mobile number I provided to you and it was correct. I always obtain a reply from him immediately on this number.
We visited the green/white villa about 3 weeks ago and he had the keys for every door and the security guys knew him and worked for him. The developer also has his own dog and puppies residing outside the villa.
My wife and I have always found him to be very consistent in our dealings with him.

sorry to reply in a negative tone,
ocean blue only had 1 elderly egyptian man on site, there seemed to be very little work done since i was last there, (sept) from looking round none of the apartments seemed to have floor tiles, bathrooms, the swimming pool was a hole in the ground filled with stagnated water. a local agaent said the only explanation for the lack of activity must be that the developer has run out of money and needs to sell apartments getting deposits so they can continue.
i have been researching all the developments within sahl hasheesh over the past week and been informed/advised by developers and agents that the ocean blue developer/architect isn't known to them and that i should research him first not take him on face value before i buy from him, they did say ocean blue is his only development in sahl hasheesh were when i spoke to potential buyers in the area who have had contact with ocean blue developer they said they would not purchase an apartment from him as his tails of ownership of various plots which he had developed and sold?????
1. villa not completed yet directly in front of ocean blue allegedly built and designed by him and sold to sir richard branson!!!! there is no way that branson would ever consider this project.
2. an apartment in ocean blue has ben sold to baby spice, again she would not buy there.
i had dinner with 2 developers and spoke indepth about the whole project they explained how the growth of sahl hasheesh would work by showing me the purposed layout plans for 2015, as for the green and white villa this was bulit by and for one of the owners of sahl hasheesh i know this to be true as it was on the plans, he is a Dr who is based in cario
i also had lunch with an english couple with 2 children who have just purchased an apartment in el bashear, this is were i have placed a holding fee.
thats my finding so far, i will be here for another 2 wks.

i know you said that the developer was not using an agent as he wished hand pick his own clients as they would be his neighbours i have found an agent who is selling the apartments at ocean blue - Sunny Home Style - they have have been selling them since on since 6th June.
