Investing in Egypt

There is much discussion on this forum about investing in one project or another and it is excellent news for those of us in the Industry that the interest in Egypt is stronger than ever.

I wonder how many potential investors have considered partnering with established Developers and Realtors to form a joint venture company to finish and complete one of the many shell projects in the Hurghada area?

Of course you can find a project and there are all too many Egyptians who will take your money, but what about Due Diligence on the land ownership? Who will do the finishing work required? Who will supervise and ensure the correct materials are purchased and budgets adhered to? Who will check the finishing qualities and ensure on time delivery and, above all, who will market the project and ensure that you see a return on your investment within an acceptable timeframe?

This is a different kind of investment but with the right partners can be very profitable; it's a real 'thinking outside of the box' option which can enable you to create something unique and package it for a specific market.

There are now a number of companies like ourselves who have decided to pursue this type of option and it truly adds a new and exciting dimension to the business.
